growing tired of coming in on my day off.” Brody studied the screen and took
over. “Had plans with Joya. He owes me.”
. “You
know how it is during IWSG. By the gods!” Dakes slammed his hand onto the launcher
and shot a cosbolt at the giant meteor hurling toward them. He sighed as it disintegrated
in a fiery shower. “That was close."
. “Grubby
little ninja,” Brody growled. “I’ll be feeding him his guitar when he gets
back.”
