The Land of the Shadows by Elissa Daye

Meet author Elissa Daye!  Her New Adult Urban Fantasy is available on Amazon.

I wasn't fast enough

I got tagged. Twice. Kirsten over at A Scenic Route tagged me in a meme about my writing process, and so did Carrie Butler . If you don't already follow Kirsten's and Carrie's blogs, you should. Carrie always has something fun and relevant, and the conversations Kirsten has with her muse are a hoot. I can't wait till she publishes. :) Okay. Back to bizness... I'm supposed to answer four questions, then tag more victims writers. 1. What am I working on?

The meaning of life... or at least a few things in my book

I'm visiting the funny and talented and uber-friendly Elizabeth Seckman today with a guest post on themes and symbolism! Aw, don't look at me like that. I know it sounds like an essay for English class, but it's not that bad. Really.  :P

Writer's Cramp

One thing we writers have to do once we're published is sign autographs and (possibly... hopefully ) participate in book signings. I put together a list of tips I've come across, as well as a few things I've learned from personal experience. I hope you'll find this helpful. :) Basic tips for autographing books ...

And the winners are...

I'd like to thank everyone who entered the contest, as well as all of you who helped make my debut release a success. I could barely keep up with all your tweets and comments and Facebook luv! Launching Come Back was most definitely a group effort. :) The randomly chosen winners are...

How I Found The Write Path - Carrie Butler's Bloghop

Writing pal Carrie Butler is hosting a  clever bloghop about authors and our reflections on our writing journey.  Participants are charged with writing a letter to our beginner-writer selves, advising the 'green' us and telling us how it will go.  With the author's approval and PK Hrezo's help, Carrie plans to compile the entries into a e-book to encourage and inspire other writers. Indie Marketing Tips

I know you're probably getting tired of my frequent posts, but generous blog buddies have reached out to help. I have to show the luv! And the writer lady I'm visiting today is first rate. ;)

Gone visiting again. This time, down under.

A new friend, Australian author Susan Horsnell, kindly offered to post a release announcement for me today. Thank you, Susan! Susan is a romance writer who's dedicated to supporting and promoting fellow authors. Not only is this talented lady generous, she's busy!

If I had it all to do over again...

A big shout-out goes to Liz Blocker and Cathrina Constantine for posting a release announcement. Thank you, Ladies! :D I'm over at Loni Townsend's blog today with a guest post entitled  Woulda Shoulda Coulda.  I hope you'll pay all of these ladies a visit. :)

Come Back - Release Day!

I can't believe the day is finally here. I made it! :D But I wouldn't have made it without the help I got from CPs, betas, my family, and you guys — so THANK YOU!  This wouldn't have happened without YOU! Pat yourself on the back and take a bow. :) Now break out the champagne and party with me!  :D

IWSG - My Insecurity Is Bigger Than Yours

This is my Insecure Writers Support Group post for May.   For more information about the group, see the bottom of this post. Alex's awesome co-hosts for May are :   Mark Koopmans, Joylene Nowell Butler, Elsie,   and Lisa Buie-Collard! Please stop by their blogs and say thank you . I'm kidding with that title, and yet I'm kinda not. This is likely the most insecure IWSG post I'll ever write. My debut novel is set to release on Monday.  0_0 Pardon me while I faint. No. Scratch that. Puke, then faint.

How To Help An Author

I'd like to give a shout-out to new mom and author Charlie Holmberg who's posting an announcement of my upcoming release. Thanks, Charlie! :D P-day for Come Back is just around the corner. To kick off my book release activities, I'm guest posting over at Jeff Hargett's blog, Strands of Pattern . If you've ever wondered what you can do to support your favorite author — or want a list to share with others — this post is for you.
